Raisins are essentially consumed as snacks, prominent ingredients in mixes, sauces and condiments, and a wide variety of baked goods and confections. Munthor raisins are sourced from South Africa from a region along the side of the Orange River where the grapes are harvested at the perfect sugar count by the local staff. The varieties include: Flame Medium Choice, Thomson Jumbo Raisins, Orange River Medium Choice, Golden Jumbo Choice, Golden Sultanas and Fruitmix. The harvested grapes go through a drying process, then cleaning and is then packed in accordance to customer specification in 5kg, 10kg, 12,5kg, 13.6kg or 15kg cartons. The raisins are BRC, Kosher and Halaal certified.
